Terms and Upload Policy

These terms cover the live scoreboard service at this site. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the service.

1. What the service is

A scoreboard overlay you place into streaming software, and a control panel you use to run a match. We give you two links: one read only, for the overlay, and one that can edit your board.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any football club, league, competition or governing body. Team names and colours are used to describe the match you are covering, nothing more.

2. Your account

• You need a working email address and you must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
• You are responsible for your links. Anyone holding your control link can change your board, so treat it as a password. You can reset either link at any time from your account page.
• One account is one board. Do not resell or share access as if it were your own product.

3. Payment

• The subscription is 3.49 USD per month, or 8.90 USD every 3 months, billed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• New customers get a 7-day free trial: your card is saved at signup and the first charge happens automatically when the trial ends. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. One trial per customer.
• You can cancel at any time from the Settings page. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not refund the current period.
• If a payment fails, your board keeps working for a further two days rather than cutting out mid-broadcast. After that it stops until payment succeeds. Nothing is deleted, and it returns as soon as you are paid up.
• If we change the price we will tell you before it takes effect, and you can cancel.

4. Referrals

How it works

• Your account page and control panel each show a personal referral link. It works for 30 days from the day it is created, and it can be used by any number of people in that time.
• When the link expires, or whenever you choose, you can generate a new one. Generating a new link immediately stops the old one working, including for anyone you have already sent it to.
• The person you refer must sign up through your link, and must not already have had an account with us.
• They get a 14-day free trial instead of the usual 7.
• Nothing is earned at signup. Your reward is earned only when they pay their first invoice in full at the end of that trial. If they cancel during the trial, no reward is due.

What you get

• A credit equal to one full invoice of your own, including any tax you pay, added to your billing account.
• The credit is applied automatically against your next invoice. If a credit is larger than that invoice, the remainder carries forward.
• Credits stack. Refer five people who each pay, and your next five invoices are covered.
• If you are on a free or complimentary plan when a reward is earned, the credit is held and applied to your first invoice once you start paying.
• Credits have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to another account, or refunded, and they are lost if the account is closed.

What does not count

• Referring yourself. That includes second accounts, other email addresses of yours, and signing someone up on your own card. Where both sides pay with the same card, no reward is given.
• Accounts created to claim rewards rather than to use the service, including fake, automated or bulk signups.
• Anyone who already had an account with us, whether or not it is still open.
• A payment that is later refunded, reversed or charged back. The reward is withdrawn and the credit removed, even if it has already been applied.

How you may share it

• Say that you get something. If you post your link publicly, in a video, a description, a stream, a post or a story, make clear that you receive a reward when someone signs up. This is a legal requirement in most places, not a courtesy.
• Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, whether email, DMs or comments. No spam, and nothing that breaks the rules of the platform you are posting on.
• Do not describe the service inaccurately, promise things it does not do, or present yourself as speaking for us or as part of our company.
• Do not buy ads against our name, our domain, or close variations of them, and do not use our branding to make a page look like it is ours.
• You are responsible for anything you post. We are not affiliated with any social network you share on, and their rules apply to you there.

The rest

• You see how many people joined through you and how many months you have been credited. You are not told who they are.
• We may withhold, void or reverse a reward where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, and we may close accounts used to abuse the programme.
• Any tax arising from a credit is yours to handle. If you are using the service through a business, take your own advice on how to treat it.
• We may change or end the referral programme at any time. Rewards already properly earned will still be honoured, and a link already shared keeps working until it expires.

5. Reviews

How it works

• We email the request once, after your first invoice is paid. While you are still in a free trial there is nothing to discount, so the form will not accept a review yet.
• You rate the service from one to five and, if you want, say why. The words are optional; the rating is not.
• The discount does not depend on what you say. It is not conditional on a good rating, on how you choose to be credited, or on changing or removing anything you wrote.
• One review, and therefore one discount, per customer. A second submission simply tells you it is already done.

Publication, and your name

• By leaving a review you agree that we may publish it, including on this website and in marketing material, and you grant us permission to do so for as long as we display it.
• You choose how you are credited. Tick the box on the form and your name and channel appear alongside your review. Leave it unticked and only the rating and your words are shown, with nothing identifying you.
• We never publish your email address, whichever you choose.
• Publication is not automatic. We may decline to display a review, but only where it is abusive or unlawful, identifies another person, is not a genuine experience of this service, or is not about this service. We do not withhold reviews for being critical.
• Where reviews are displayed we make clear that a discount was offered for leaving one, because an incentivised review presented as unprompted is misleading.
• You can change your mind at any time. Email us and we will remove your review, or switch it to anonymous, and you keep the discount.

The discount

• A credit worth 50% of one invoice of your own, including any tax you pay, added to your billing account and applied automatically to your next invoice.
• It stacks with referral credits. If credits exceed an invoice, the remainder carries forward.
• Credits have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, transferred to another account, or refunded, and they are lost if the account is closed.
• If you are on a complimentary plan there is no invoice to discount, so the review is still welcome but no credit is created.

What we will not accept

• Reviews that are not your own genuine experience of the service.
• Anything unlawful, hateful, or abusive, anything identifying another person, and anything that is not about this product.
• We may decline, remove or reverse a review and its credit where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.

6. Emblems you upload

By uploading an image you confirm that:

• you own it, or you have permission from whoever does, or it is free of restrictions;
• it does not infringe anyone's trademark, copyright or other rights;
• it is not offensive, hateful, or unlawful.

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us only the permission we need to store it and display it on your own board.

We do not supply professional club emblems, and the built-in team list does not contain any. Teams are drawn as a shield in their kit colours instead. What you upload is your choice and your responsibility.

7. Reporting content

If you believe something on this service infringes your rights, email support@cdoscoreboard.com with:

1. what the material is and where it appears;
2. what right you hold and proof you hold it;
3. your contact details;
4. a statement that you believe the use is not authorised, and that your report is accurate.

We act on valid reports promptly, usually by removing the material and telling the account holder. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are closed.

8. Acceptable use

Do not:

• upload anything you do not have the right to use;
• attempt to reach another customer's board, tokens or data;
• put load on the service beyond normal use, or try to break it;
• present the service as your own product, or imply we are connected to a club or league.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. It depends on third parties including our hosting and database providers. Live match data is pulled from public sources and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong; check anything that matters before putting it on screen.

10. Ending the service

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page; it cancels any subscription immediately and permanently removes your board, links, emblems and sign-in. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will normally tell you why. If we withdraw the service entirely we will give reasonable notice and stop billing.

11. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost viewers, lost revenue, or a stream that did not go to plan.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, and the courts there have jurisdiction.
